Anyone still on here? | Tue Jul 17, 2018 2:45 pm by The Colonel | Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone was still on here. I got an email that reminded me of this place and I somehow remembered my login info. Send me an email at dimitripheonixslovak@gmail.com if you just want to communicate. I lost contact with a lot of people on here, and I'm hoping to reconnect. If you're looking for another RP place, go to nationstates.net
I'll link my country here. [url=https://www.nationstates.net/nation=isaf-usea]…

New Races/Species | Thu Oct 03, 2013 3:36 pm by Flarezone | As you can see, the choices regarding species is currently very limited. I am currently working on 3-4 other species. However, if any member has an idea feel free to run it by me. These 1st few playable races are probably going to be the most commonly used so lets be original! If any guest has ideas, feel free to submit a thread to the QCIS board.

| EXPLAINING 27th CENTURY TECHNOLOGY During the majority of the 3rd Millennium, the human race was limited to their own solar system. Only sending robotic probes to the closest star systems.
Propulsion is limited to the old fashioned chemical rocket which became fairly unused after the application of the Ion Drive in the 23rd century. Civilian craft often use solar sails which allowed for travel up to 30%-40% the speed of light. In the 25th century the Horizons Corporation invented the Anti-Matter Drive which allowed for travel up to 99% the speed of light, the fastest means of travel available. However it wasn't used by the inner solar system until the 29th-30th centuries. Therefore the majority of the human race relied on the Ion Drive, which allowed travel up to 70%-80% the speed of light. However the tunnel drive on the Valor was not mass produced again until the 31st century near the end of the Altiran and Cybratic invasion.
Before the creation of the S.S.Valor, shield tech on most warships was limited to heavy armor plating as well as radiation/heat shields. The discovery of the alien ship on Venus was certainly a big technological jump for the human race. Most of the advanced shielding on the S.S.Valor was not mass produced until the 29th century simply because it was extremely difficult to duplicate that type of alien technology.
Weaponry aboard most warships in the 27th century is limited to gauss cannons as well as infrared and uv lasers. Missiles included the nuclear missile, Ion scatter missile and plasma torpedo. However after the construction of the S.S.Valor many new weapons were integrated into UNE warships such as the phantom torpedoes and the god-rod. As well as the plasma cannon which wasn't added to the fleet until the 28th century.

| The Drone would be the biggest threat of them all, humans have g-limits. Drones much less so. The Heavy looks as if it would double as a transport. The Light looks as if it's an SSTO fighter, atmosphere-capable. Meaning those intakes would probably be for jets here on Earth. But on another planet those intakes would probably be for any non-corrosive atmosphere, and it'd be an air-powered thermal jet/rocket. The thermal powered thrust would eliminate the need for fuel on board, unless it had to go in space. This would be a VERY powerful and useful craft. I could also be modified for submarine activities using the intakes for water jets and a deployable prop to start movement. | |
